Thank you for visiting the PLAGS page
We are a concerned group of Marcham residents and have grave worries about the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and drivers on the A415 through the village of Marcham. With the help of the residents of Marcham and the surrounding area we intend to make Marcham a safer place to live in and drive through.
In the absence of a by-pass for the foreseeable future, we need immediate action to ensure that the next traffic incident reported in MADNews is not a fatality!
If you have had an incident on the road, please report it to the Police (0845 8 505 505) and/or Marcham Parish Council (Clerk to the Council: Mrs. L. Martin, 90 Howard Cornish Road, Tel: 01865 391833). It is important to log these incidents so Oxfordshire Highways has an accurate picture of what is happening on the road.
You can also fill in our questionnaire to register your experience and opinion of the A415.
You can read letters from readers of MADNews regarding their views on the A415 here.
The Needs and Benefits list below give you an idea of what we think should be considered when a solution is proposed by Oxfordshire Highways.
